At Jump Start, your child’s safety is our top priority. Jump Start carefully screens and hires exceptional and caring team members who are leaders in our community.
Transportation Safety: Jump Start's Bus drivers have a combined experience level of over 30 plus years and are retired School District Bus Drivers.
Students are placed in age appropriate classrooms with children of similar age with exceptional student/teacher ratios.
Jump Start utilizes a national based software system that provides secure checkout of your child for authorized persons only, providing a safe check out daily.
Each counselor and Jump Start team member has completed a thorough interview and hiring progress in addition to a background check. In addition, our staff is regularly trained in the ‘Jump Start’ way of child care, ensuring that each child is treated with the love and support they need and deserve. Our counselors truly care about your child and make it a point to create a personal relationship with each one.
Jump Start is founded on Christian values and uses a faith-based approach to child care. Daily Devotion, Bible verses, and other Christian based activities are integrated daily.
Your child will be involved in fun and academic activities during school year. Summer Camp includes an exciting sequence of amazing Field Trips and Onsite Events & Activities.
Jump Start students have access to our indoor gym, indoor and outdoor basketball areas, swings, outdoor play areas, indoor and outdoor soccer and football, gaming areas, concessions and food, just to name a few, in an encouraging, Christian, and uplifting environment.
Jump Start is conveniently located a mile from Interstate 85 in the center of Spartanburg County School District 5. We are closely located to all schools we serve.

Jump Start offers your child access to our spacious 10,000 square foot facility equipped with individualized, age appropriate classrooms, indoor gym, indoor and outdoor basketball areas, indoor and outdoor football and soccer areas, swings, outdoor play areas, green spaces, academic spaces, gaming areas, concessions and food vending, lounge areas, toys centers, and much more.
As part of our facilities, Jump Start is also happy to offer a convenient Drive Through Car Pick Up line service for our parents located in our lot.
Quality child care does not have to be expensive. At Jump Start, you will find affordable weekly and daily options for both after school and summer camp programs. Sibling discounts provided for each additional child.
Full year members (After School & Summer Camp families also receive one complimentary week in the summer and on complimentary week at Christmas as well as discounted daily pricing for full days during school year.
Financial Policy: Weekly tuition is calculated as an average rate with all 1/2 days and holidays taken into account for the full year and summer. This results in a base weekly tuition amount that does not change, regardless of days open or closed during school year and summer. One week during Christmas and one week during summer is granted to full year families complimentary with no charge. Half days are no additional charge during school year. Therefore your tuition will remain the same weekly throughout the school year and summer.
Full days (during school year) are an additional $20 for after school members and $40 for non-school year members. See Spring Break pricing for details regarding.
